Just in case you haven't heard, the sequester (more popularly known as the fiscal cliff) poised to hit at the end of the year includes potential cuts to the National Park Service and National Wildlife Refuge System. According to most of the reports floating around out there, possible consequences could include closures to some national parks, campgrounds, or visitor centers.Without getting into politics, I thought you might want to know about this nifty letter from the National Parks Conservation Association. If you agree with what it says, maybe you'd like to sign it and pass it on to others that value easy access to -- and stewardship of -- our wild places.
