I live in Alaska. As you might or might not know, Alaska's coastline is longer than that of the other 49 United States (including Hawaii) put together. That's more than 6,600 miles. Wales, by comparison, has just 1,300 miles or so of coastline on its mainland, or around 1,600 if you include its islands. But Wales has an 870-mile "Coast Path" that, when joined with the Dyke Path National Trail, lets you walk almost the entire length of its coastline... more than 1,000 miles total. Well played, Wales.
